This sharp Bauer BG 24 H of Implenia from Opfikon (CH) stood on a construction site near St. Margrethen (CH) to drill piles for the extension of a motorway.
The base machine of type BT 75 is powered by a Caterpillar C11 diesel engine with a power of 313 kW. The rig's year of manufacture is 2009.
In total has the BG 24 H 10 tonnes of counterweight with a 3.56 meter tailswing.
The UW 80 undercarriage is 5.5 meters long and 4.4 meters wide. For the transport over the road can the width be reduced to only 3 meters. The tracks are each 70 cm wide.
Attached to the bottom of the leader are three winches. Those are a 33-tonne pull-down and pull-up winch, a 20-tonne main winch and an 8-tonne auxilairy winch.
The leader has a length of approx. 18.4 meters and can be moved to a maximum leader head height of 21.9 meters. For the transport over the road is it possible to fold the leader backwards, the transport length is then approx. 21 meters.
