BAM Grondtechniek from Amsterdam (NL) is deploying this interesting Woltman THW-A700 HC heavy duty crane, the crane was used here on a job site in Maasvlakte (NL).
The crane's year of manufacture is 1998. The machine can be used as lifting crane and heavy duty crane, the crane was primairy developed to work with a slurry wall grab and has two 15-tonne hoist winches.
The undercarriage is 4.9 meters long and 4.9 meters wide. For the transport over the road is it possible to retrack the tracks, the width is then approx. 3.5 meters.
The crane is powered by a Cummins N14, a 14-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 331 kW (443 hp).
The crane's operational weight is about 71 tonnes.
The maximum boom length is 42 meters, the crane can still lift 2.2 tonnes on a 36 meter radius with that boom. Here is the boom 30 meters long.
