This sharp Tadano GT-600EL belongs to Williams Cranes from Pinkenba (AU) and could be photographed during a visit. It is a 60-tonne hydraulic truck crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier. The crane's year of manufacture is 2018 and on these photos is the crane just one year old.
The 4-axle carrier has an 8x4-drive line and is powered by a Daimler OM 457 LA, a 12-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (353 hp). Both rear axles are powered and both front axles are steerable. On the road is the crane able to reach a driving speed of 85 km/h.
The 5-part main boom has an 11 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 43 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 9 - 14.3 meter long jib, the jib is mountable in a 5, 25 or 45 degree angle to the main boom. This crane doesn't bring the jib, attached to the main boom head is a runner, the crane is able to work with two hooks.
The outrigger base measures 5.58 x 7 meters, or half 5.58 x 4.7 meters. Below the cabin is a fifth jack mounted for a 360 degree load chart.
In transit is the crane 13.14 meters long, 3.04 meters wide and 3.78 meters tall. At the rear is a small storage box mounted and is a smaller lifting beam taken.
Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight with a 4.3 tonne mass, the tailswing of the counterweight is 3.64 meters. The crane is fitted with two 5.5-tonne hoist winches.
