This sharp Tadano ATF 220G-5 of Wiemann from Dortmund (DE) stood on a construction site in Herongen (DE) to assist by the assembly of precast concrete elements. It is a 220-Tonne crane mounted on a 5-axle carrier. It is an used crane previously operated by Kranservice Solf from Kerpen (DE).
The 5-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 405 kW (551 hp). The axles 2, 4 and 5 are powered, all axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 9.05 x 8.3 meters.
To superstructure has an own engine; a Mercedes-Benz OM 924 LA, a 4-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 143 kW (194 hp). This engine poweres three hydraulic pumps to power the crane movements.
In transit is the crane 15.21 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 60 tonnes.
Below the cabin is a storage rack for smaller outrigger pads mounted.
On this site was the crane fitted with 47 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight weights 71 tonnes and has a 4.98 meter tailswing.
The 7-part main boom has a 13.2 meter base length and extends six times to a maximum length of 68 meters. The main boom is here extended 25.8 meters.
