UBTS from Singapore (SG) was using this interesting Tadano AR 1000-M, it is a 100-tonne crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier.
The 4-axle carrier was made by FAUN in Lauf (DE). The carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 402 LA, a 12.7-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 284 kW (381 hp). This carrier has the 8x8x8-drive line, where all axles are powered and steerable.
The outrigger base measures 7.2 x 6.36 meters, or half 7.2 x 4.9 meters.
The hook is during the transport over the road stored on the deck of the carrier because the crane is towed over the road. Also a small counterweight slab is stored on the deck of the carrier.
The five-part main boom has an 11.7 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 45 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 9 - 14 - 19 meter long hydraulic jib, the jib is mountable in an angle of 5, 25 or 45 degrees to the main boom.
In transit is the crane 13.53 meters long, 2.78 meters wide and 3.95 meters tall.
The crane was brought used into Singapore and came from Japan.
The super structure was made by Tadano in Japan. The superstructure is powered by a Nissan NE6T, a 7.4-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 134 kW (180 hp).
The total counterweight of the crane weights 14 tonnes and has a 3.73 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with two hoist winches.
A very sharp and tough crane of UBTS! UBTS is deploying next to their large truck fleet also some cranes, including a 250-tonne Zoomlion and two Tadano ATF 130G-5.
