This interesting Tadano GR-700EX belongs to Or Kim Peow Contractors from Singapore (SG). It is a 70-tonne rough-terrain crane mounted on a 2-axle carrier.
The carrier is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M60-TLU3B, a 7.5-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 200 kW (272 hp). Both axles are powered and are steerable. The crane can reach a driving speed of 20 km/h, in operation is the diesel engine powering two hydraulic pumps.
The five-part main boom has an 11.5 meter base lenght and extends four times to a maximum length of 44 meters. Optionally is it possible to extend the main boom by a 9.9 -17.7 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib. The jib can be mounted in a 0, 25 or 45 degree angle to the main boom.
The crane is fitted with two 5.5-tonne hoist winches.
The outrigger base measures 7.2 x 7.2 meters. The counterweight on the superstructure has a mass of 7.9 tonnes and has a 4.12 meter tailswing.
