This interesting Tadano GT-550E of Lee Hong from Singapore (SG) stood in transit on a construction site after a small job. It is a 55-tonne truck crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier. The crane has a total mass of 39.8 tonnes.
The crane is mounted on a 4-axle Nissan KG48UXN carrier. The undercarriage is powered by a Nissan PF6TB, a 12.5-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 257 kW (350 hp). The undercarriage has an 8x4-drive line, where the two front axles are steerable and the last two axles are driven.
The outrigger base measures 5.48 x 6.8 meters, or half 5.48 x 4.6 meters.
The counterweight of 4.2 tonnes remains mounted to the superstructure. The counterweight has a 3.65 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with two 4.3-tonne hoist winces.
In transit is the crane 13.48 meters long, 2.82 meters wide and 3.68 meters tall.
To the front of the chassis is a fifth jack mounted.
The 5-part main boom has an 11.1 meter base length and extends maximum to a length of 42 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 9 - 14.6 meter jib, during the transport over the road is the jib transported below the main boom.
