Hup Huat from Singapore (SG) was deploying two of these Tadano ATF 70G-4 cranes. It is a 70-tonne crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier.
Packed is the crane 13.17 meters long, 2.66 meters wide and 3.78 meters tall. The transport mass of the crane is approx. 52 tonnes.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 320 kW (435 hp). This crane has the standard 8x6x8-drive line, where the axles 2 to 4 are powered and all axles are steerable.
The 5-part main boom has an 11 meter base length and extends four times to maximum length of 44 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 9 / 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib. The jib is hydraulic in an angle between 0 and 40 degrees adjustable.
The outrigger base measures 7.8 x 6.4 meters, or half 7.8 x 4.4 meters. The crane is here a little bit jacked up to unload the tires when the crane is parked.
On the undercarriage is during the transport over the road 9 tonnes of counterweight stored.
Attached to the superstructure are 6 tonnes of counterweight. The counterweight has a 3.45 meter tailswing. This crane is fitted with the optional second hoist winch, the tailswing of the second winch is 4.27 meters. Both hoist winches have a 4.4 tonne line pull.
