A sharp Tadano ATF 110G-5 of Haslach from Wertach (DE) stood ready for his job on a construction site to lift precast concrete elements.
It is a 110 tonne crane on a 5 axle undercarriage. Packed is the crane 14.9 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meter heigh. His transportweight is about 60 tonnes.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a water cooled 8 cylinder diesel engine with 530 hp. Four of the five axles are driven.
The outrigger base measures 7.75 x 7.5 meters, or half 7.75 x 5 meters.
Clever solution; the outigger pads are with fasteners fixed to the outriggers. Now is is possible to take the outrigger pads with the crane directly when the crane is movving on the job site.
Put up with 35 tonnes of counterweight, that is the maximum. The counterweight has a 4.1 meter tailswing.
Under the undercarriage cab as well on the rear of the crane carrier is a lot of wood taken, that is used to fill out the outriggers in the hilly area where the Haslach company is on the move often.
Remarkable on the upper cabs of Tadano is that not the cab itself but the interior is tilting.
The main boom has a 13 meter base length and extends 4x to a 52 meter length. The main boom is extendable with a 30.1 meter fixed jib.
