A sharp Spierings SK498-AT4 of Wundel, from its depot in Donauwörth (DE), stood parked on their yard during the weekend. It is a 4-axle mobile tower cranes with a jib length of 44 meters.
The crane's year of manufacture is 2012.
The undercarriage is powered by a DAF MX 300, a 12.9-liter 6-cilinder line engine with a power of 300 kW. The axles 2, 3 and 4 are driven and the axles 1, 2 and 4 are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 6,925 x 6,85 meters, or half 6,925 x 5,15 meters. On both configurations can be worked up to a wind force of 7, but on half outrigger base is the load chart reduced. The counterweight has a 3.55 meter tailswing.
The superstructure is powered by a John Deere 4045HF475, a 129 kW diesel engine. This engine powers the hydraulic pumps, with them are the crane functions operated. The max. capacity is 8 tonnes and that could be lifted up to a 12.85 meter radius. On a 44 meter radius can the crane lift 1.9 tonnes.
Packed is the crane 15.975 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meters high. The transport mass is about 48 tonnes.
A sharp crane in the Wundel-colours!
