Van Spijker Infrabouw from Meppel (NL) is operating this sharp Sennebogen 683 R mainly on own projects, like here in Deventer (NL).
It is a 80-tonne crawler crane with telescopic boom. Between the tracks are on both sides 6.5 tonnes of central counterweight installed, 13 tonnes in total.
The undercarriage is 6.44 meters long and 4.54 meters wide. For the transport over the road is it possible to reduce the breadth to only 3 meters.
The crane is powered by a Deutz TCD 2013 L06 2V, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 186 kW (253 hp). The engine powers two hydraulic pumps to operate the crane functions.
Here is the crane fitted with 19.6 tonnes of counterweight, that exists out of two wide base plates with 5.2 and 5.4 tonnes and six smaller slabs with each 1.5 tonnes. The full counterweight weights 25.6 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.45 meter tailswing. By useage of the two hydraulic cylinders is it possible to lift up the counterweight from the floor for installation to the superstructure.
The 5-part main boom has a 10.8 meter base length and extends four times to a full length of 42 meters. Optionally is it possible to extend the main boom by a 10 or 16 meter long lattice jib, that can be mounted under a 0, 20 or 40 degree angle to the main boom head.
A very sharp crane by Van Spijker!
