This Sennebogen 5500 of Sarens from Dordrecht (NL) was used on a construction site in Schiedam (NL) and was supporting during the construction of a new school. The crane is fitted here with 60 tonnes of counterweight and 26 tonnes of central ballast.
The crane is erected here in SH-WS configuration. The crane is here with 29.9 meters of main boom and 29.9 meters of luffing jib.
The max. length of the main boom is 74.7 meters with heavy boom head and 80.3 meters with light boom head. Then is the heavy boom head removed from the tapered section and the boom is extended by smaller jib sections, from the luffing jib.
The maximum configuration in SH-WS is 52.3 meters of main boom in combination with 52.3 meters of luffing jib.
In this configuration, the crane can lift 34.5 tonnes on a 13 meter radius and 8 tonnes on a 44 meter radius. The tailswing of the counterweight is 6 meters.
