Sennebogen 673 R - Methabau
A sharp Sennebogen 673 R during a weekend. It is a 70 tonne telescopic boom crane on a crawler chassis.
The telescopic boom has a 11 meter boom length and extends three times to a maximum length of 36 meters. The bi-fold swingaway jib is 8 or 15 meters long and can be attached in a 0, 20 or 40 degree angle against the main boom.
The undercarriage is 4.8 meters wide and 6.05 meters long. For the transport over the road the breadth of the undercarriage can be reduced up to a 2.98 meter breadth.
The crane is powered by a water cooled 160 kW Cummins engine. The crane has a weight of 71.5 tonnes.
Attached to the undercarriage are on both sides 4 tonnes of central counterweight. On this side the counterweight is extended by a frame that it used to put on the counterweights of the crane. The crane is able to assemble itself.
The counterweight exists out of a 0.825 tonne base plate and four slabs of each 4.25 tonnes. In total the crane has 17.825 tonnes of counterweight with a 4.025 meter tailswing.
