This sharp Sennebogen 683 R of Kibag from Bäch (CH) stood on a large construction site in Dagmersellen (CH) to pull sheet piles out of the ground. It is an 80-tonne telescopic crane mounted on a crawler undercarriage.
The undercarriage is 6.44 meters long and 4.54 meters wide. For the transport over the road is it possible to reduce the breadth to only 3 meters.
Here is the crane fitted with 19.6 tonnes of counterweight, that exists out of two wide base plates with 5.2 and 5.4 tonnes and six smaller slabs with each 1.5 tonnes. The full counterweight weights 25.6 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.45 meter tailswing. By useage of the two hydraulic cylinders is it possible to lift up the counterweight from the floor for installation to the superstructure.
The crane is powered by a Deutz TCD 2013 L06 2V, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 186 kW (253 hp). The engine powers two hydraulic pumps to operate the crane functions.
Between the tracks are on both sides 6.5 tonnes of central counterweight installed, 13 tonnes in total.
The crane was working here with a large PTC vibrator. The vibrator is powered by an external power pack.
The 5-part main boom has a 10.8 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 42 meters. Attached to the main boom is here a 14.4-tonne fixed jib for the second hook.
The main boom is here extended to 26.4 meters. In this configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 26 tonnes on a 5 meter or 3.1 tonnes to a 24 meter radius.
A very sharp crane in the Kibag colours.
