This sharp Sennebogen 6100 R was used for many years by Beton- en Prefabbouw IJmond from Beverwijk (NL). It is an 100-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 1998. In 2007 was the crane refurbished and repainted.
The crane was primairy used on construction sites to assist by the concrete works for new buildings.
The crane is powered by a diesel engine with a power of 222 kW (298 hp). The undercarriage is 7.15 meters long and 4.7 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the breadth to be reduced to 3.5 meters.
The counterweight weights 24 tonnes and has a 4.7 meter tailswing.
During the transport over the road is the A-frame folded down. The transport height is then only 3.4 meters.
The crane has a single hoist winch with a 10 tonne line pull. On the position of the second hoist winch is now a compensation weight installed.
By the in-height adjustable cabin has the crane operator a better overview over his work which increases the productivity on site.
On this construction site was the crane lifting formworks up to 15 tonnes.
Here was the crane fitted with a 40 meter main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to hoist 24.1 tonnes on a 9 meter radius or 3.2 tonnes to a 36 meter radius.
A very impressive crane! In the meantime Beton- en Prefabbouw IJmond doesn't exist anymore and the crane was exported.
