Hup Hin
This interesting Sany SCC2800A belongs to Hup Hin from Singapore (SG) and was deployed at a shipyard there. It is a 280-tonne crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Cummins QSL8.9-C325, an 8.9-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 242 kW (325 hp). The diesel engine drives the hydraulic pumps.
The carrier is 9.32 metres long and 7.98 metres wide. A single crawler track is 9.32 metres long, 1.2 metres wide and 1.42 metres high. The transport weight per piece is 22.2 tonnes.
A total of 40 tonnes of central ballast is mounted on the carrier, consisting of one 20-tonne block on each side.

A total of 112 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure, consisting of a 16-tonne base plate and sixteen blocks weighing 6 tonnes each. The ballast has a swing radius of 6.73 metres.
The main boom has a base length of 20 metres and can be extended in steps of three metres to a maximum of 86 metres. Here, the crane was erected with a 38-metre-long main boom. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 195 tonnes at a radius of 7 metres or 30.8 tonnes up to a radius of 34 metres.
The two 15-tonne hoist winches, each fitted with 26 mm hoist rope, are mounted on the base section of the main boom. Both hoist winches are also in use here.
