In the middle of 2020 took Hup Hin from Singapore (SG) this sharp and impressive Sany SAC4500S into operation. It is a 450-tonne crane mounted on a 6-axle carrier.
The 6-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 480 kW (644 hp). The axles 1, 3, 5 and 6 are powered, where the last axle is turned off at higher speeds. All axles are steerable.
The crane is available with two different main booms. The short 3-part main boom has maximum length of 50 meters, the long 7-part main boom has a maximum length of 84 meters. This crane is equiped with the long main boom. Over this long main boom, maximum loads up to 201.5 tonnes can be lifted.
The outrigger base measures 9.45 x 9.6 meters, or half 9.45 x 6.15 meters.
The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 906 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (275 hp). The diesel engine poweres the hydraulic system.
The maximum counterweight to be attached to the superstructure is 142 tonnes. The crane has a 12.5-tonne hoist winch fitted with a 24 mm hoist wire rope.
The main boom isn't positioned in the middle of the crane, the main boom is shifted slightly more to the left so that the cabine could be positioned next to the main boom.
In transit is the crane 19.28 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall.
A very sharp crane of Hup Hin!
