This sharp Sany SCC800TB belongs to Hiap Tong from Singapore (SG) and stood parked on their yard after some tests and introduction. It is an 80-tonne crane with telescopic boom on crawler carrier with year of manufacture 2020.
The crane is powered by an Isuzu 6HK1XKJC-01, a 7.79-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 212 kW. The diesel engine powers some hydraulic oil pumps. The cabin is 20 degrees tiltable.
Attached to the undercarriage is a total of 6 tonnes of central counterweight, each side one block of 3 tonnes.
The undercarriage is 6.33 meters long and 5.1 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width adjustable to only 3.49 meters. The crane has a total mass of approx. 88 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure is a total of 26.1 tonnes of counterweight, that exists out of a 9.9-tonne base plate, an 8.4-tonne plate and two blocks with each 3.9 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is 4.5 meters. The crane is fitted with two hydraulic cylinders, so that the crane can pick-up it's own counterweight from the ground for self-assembly.
The crane is fitted with two 8-tonne hoist winches, both are in use here. The five-part main boom has a 12.2 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 47 meters.
The main boom can be extended in length by a 10.2 - 17.5 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib that can be mounted to the main boom in a 0, 15 or 30 degree angle. A sharp crane of Hiap Tong!
