Sany SAC2500C8-8 - Eng Lee Logistics

In 2024 took Eng Lee Logistics from Singapore (SG) this interesting Sany SAC2500C8-8 into operation. It is a 250-tonne crane mounted on a 5-axle carrier.

The 5-axle carrier is powered by a Wechai WP12.460E62, a 6-cilinder diesel engine with a power of 338 kW (453 hp). The crane has a 10x6x10-drive line, where the axles 3 to 5 are powered and alla axles are steerable.

The crane has an 8-part main boom. The base length is 14.9 meters and extends seven times to a maximum length of 88 meters. Optionally is this crane to be fitted with a superlift device, but Eng Lee does not (yet) has this option.

The outrigger base measures 9.47 x 8.3 meters.

During the transport over the road is a counterweight slab with a mass of 13.5 tonnes stored on the carrier.

In transit is the crane 17.34 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall.

The hydraulic pumps in the superstructure are powered by a Cummins QSB5.9CS4 with a power of 154 kW (207 hp). The type indication of Sany is showing the maximum lifting capacity (250 tonnes), the Chinese motors (C), the 8-part boom and the latest generation of cabin (-8).

Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight block of 4.5 tonnes. The full counterweight of the crane weights 74 tonnes, there the crane brings 18 tonnes with it. The crane is equipped with a 12.5-tonne hoist winch with a 22 mm hoist rope.

Here was the crane used for an impressive job at night.

The crane was used to lift a large arch with Christmas decoration. This arch is every year installed over the famous Orchard Road in Singapore (SG).

The main boom has a length of 48.5 meters, the crane is using it's basic counterweight of 18 tonnes.

The load with a mass of 5.3 tonnes is lifted at a 28 meter radius.

A very sharp crane of Eng Lee Logistics!
