This interesting P&H 670-TC belongs to Williams Cranes from Pinkenba (AU) and stood erected on their yard. It is a 70 US-tonne crane with lattice boom mounted on a 4-axle carrier.
The 4-axle carrier is standard powered by a Cummins NTF-255, a 14-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 190 kW (255 hp). Both rear axles are powered, both front axles are steerable. On the road the crane is able to reach a driving speed of 65 km/h.
During the transport over the road is the crane 11.42 meters long, 3.35 meters wide and 3.91 meters tall. The crane has a transport mass without counterweights of approx. 41 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 5.41 x 6.24 meters. The outriggers are extending once.
The superstructure is standard powered by a Cummins N-855P, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 97 kW (130 hp). The crane functions are mechanically driven.
Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight of 10.193 tonnes mounted. The counterweight has a 3.94 meter tailswing. It is possible to attach an additional counterweight on the front bumper with a mass of 6.35 tonnes, but that slab is missing on this crane.
The crane was fitted here with a 90' (27.4 meter) main boom.
The maximum length of the main boom is 180' (54.9 meters). The A-frame has in operation a maximum height of approx. 5.5 meters. A very shap and special crane by Williams Cranes!
