NCK Nova HC65 - Zwagerman VMT
On the yard of Zwagerman VMT in Nederhorst den Berg (NL) I could take some photos of this sharp NCK Nova HC65. It is a 65-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 1996.
The crane is powered by a Caterpillar 3306-DIT 6-cylinder diesel engine with 240 hp. In total are four hydraulic pumps driven to operate the crane functions. The crane has two hoist winches with each a 24 mm hoist cable.
The counterweight weights 18.11 tonnes and has a 4.27 meter tailswing.
The undercarriage is 6 meters long and 4.6 meters wide. For the transport over the road can the undercarriage be retracked to 3.5 meters.
The main boom has a 12 meter base length and can be increased in 3 meter steps to a full length of 54 meters. A fixed jib with a length of maximum 15 meters can be attached to the main boom, which then has a length of maximum 45 meters.
Here was the crane fitted with a 27 meter main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to lift 31.8 tonnes on a 6.2 meter radius and 4.9 tonnes on a 24 meter radius.
