Manitowoc 8500 - Multi Ways
This Manitowoc 8500 belongs to Multi Ways from Singapore (SG) and was used on a construction site there. It is an 80-tonne crawler crane.
The undercarriage of the crane is 6 meters long and 4.94 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.5 meters. Attached to the undercarriage are two 3.34 tonne central counterweight slabs.
The crane is powered by a Hino J08E-TM, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 159 kW (213 hp).
Attached to the superstructure is 24.9 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 4.28 meter tailswing.
The main boom has a 12.2 meter base length and can be extended in 3.1 meter steps to maximum 61 meters. The crane is fitted with two 7.7-tonne hoist winches.
Here was the crane fitted with a 30.5 meter long main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 44.6 tonnes on a 6 meter radius or 5.3 tonnes to a 28 meter radius.
