This sharp Liebherr LTM 1100-5.2 of Zaugg from Rohrbach (CH) stood on a construction site in Menznau (CH). It is a 100-tonne crane installed on a 5-axle carrier.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D846 A7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp. This crane has the optional 10x8 drive line, with the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 powered.
The outrigger base measures 7.4 x 7 meters.
The crane was erected here with 35 tonnes of counterweight, that is the full counterweight. The counterweight has a 3.97 meter tailswing.
The crane has a 52-meter main boom that extends five times. The boom can be extended by a 19-meter long bi-fold swingaway jib. Between the main boom and jib is is possible to erect two 7-meter lattice sections, the maximum hook height is than approx. 84 meters. The maximum capacity is 1.4 tonnes in that configuration.
In the meantime did Zaugg change the company colors, the yellow is now replaced by light grey. The largest crane at Zaugg is currently a Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1.
