This sharp Liebherr LTM 1070/1 of Wundel from Augsburg (DE) could be photographed on a parking. It is a 70-tonne crane with year of manufacture 1997.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 9406 TI-E, a water-cooled 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 300 kW (408 hp). This crane has the optional 8x8x8-drive line, where all axles are driven and steerable.
The 5-part main boom has a 10.6 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 40 meters. The main boom can be extended by a bi-fold swingaway jib with an 8.4 or 15.8 meter length. The jib is mountable to the main boom under an angle of 0, 15 or 30 degrees.
In transit is the crane 12.35 meters long, 2.68 meters wide and 3.8 meters tall. The transport mass is 48 tonnes including 6.2 tonnes of counterweight and the jib.
The outrigger base measures 8.13 x 7.2 meters, or half 8.13 x 5 meters.
At the rear of the crane are multiple wooden beams stored and is the lifting gear stored in a box.
Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight block of 5.1 tonnes. The full counterweight of the crane is 13 tonnes, that has a 3.65 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with a 5-tonne hoist winch with a 17 mm wire rope.
On the undercarriage is a small counterweight slab of 1.1 tonnes stored. The crane itself brings 6.2 tonnes of counterweight.
The remaining counterweight (6.8 tonnes) and the outrigger pads are taken on this Scania container truck.
A very sharp and strong crane of Wundel, in 2021 was the crane exported to Egypt.
