This sharp Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 of Wimmer from Sulzemoos (DE) stood on a parking near Aichach (DE) during a weekend. It is a 50-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2016.
Optionally is the single cabin, from where the crane is driven and operated, attached to a short extendable mast. This can give the crane operator a maximum visibility height of approx. 7.8 meters.
In transit is the crane 10.4 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.88 meters tall. The transport mass of the crane is approx. 36 tonnes including 6.5 tonnes of counterweight. The counterweight has a 3.2 meter tailswing.
The crane is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (354 hp). This crane has the optional 6x6x6-drive line, where all axles are driven and steerable. The full outrigger base of the crane measures 6.5 x 6.2 meters.
The main boom has an 8.2 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 36 meters. Optionally can the main boom be extended by a 7.5 or 13 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib or a 1.5 meter heavy duty jib.
During the transport over the road is the main boom a bit boomed up, to give the crane driver some visibility on his/her right side.
A very sharp crane by Wimmer, that is part of the Felbermayr group.
