This sharp Liebherr LR 1280 of Wiesbauer from Bietigheim (DE) stood on a large construction site near Stuttgart (DE) to erect heavy precast concrete elements.
The undercarriage of the crane is 9.08 meters long and 7.5 meters wide.
Between the tracks is in total 36 tonnes of central counterweight installed. Per side are two slabs with each 9 tonnes installed. The top surface of the counterweight is creating a large horizontal platform for safe working on the superstructure or to reach the cabin.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D 9508 A7, a diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (603 hp).
The crane's year of manufacture is 2009.
The tracks are 9.08 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.46 meters tall. The transport mass of a single track is 21.4 tonnes. With use of an hydraulic cylinder attached to the gantry is the crane able to lift the tracks and install them onto the undercarriage.
The counterweight on the superstructure has a total mass of 85.5 tonnes with a tailswing of 6.2 meters.
Here was the crane erected with a 29 meter luffing jib. The maximum length of the luffing jib is 95 meters.
The main boom is 25.7 meters long. In this configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 58.1 tonnes on an 11 meter radius or 15.1 tonnes to a 32 meter radius. The crane should park the boom configuration low to create enough freedom for the tower crane to weathervane.
