By digging out the Lech river between Donauwörth (DE) and Augsburg (DE) was this nice Liebherr HS 845 HD of Wanner + Märker from Genderkingen (DE) used.
The heavy duty crane is working on a temporary made dam in the middle of the river. The crane is working slowly back to the beginning and digs the river out. As a lifting crane is this a 60 tonne crane.
The gravel is loaded into dumpers and transported to the storage. The crane is used with a 23 meter boom.
For the transmission of the hydraulic pumps is a Liebherr D 846A7 diesel engine with 469 hp taking care. The crane is equiped with two 20 tonne winches.
The undercarriage is 5.92 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. The track plates are 0.7 meters wide. In this configuration the crane weights between 75 and 80 tonnes.
The counterweight weights 20 tonnes and has a 4.58 meter tailswing.
The max. boom length as a dragline is 29 meters. As a lifting crane is the max. length 56 meters, extendable by a 32 meter fixed jib.
A nice use as a dragline!
