This Liebherr HS 875 HD of Volker Staal en Funderingen from Dordrecht (NL) was together with the HS 875 HD of BAM and Zwagerman VMT used on a construction site on the Second Maasvlakte (NL) to dig large slurry walls for large quay walls.
The heavy duty crane was erected with a 20 meter main boom. The maximum boom length as lifting crane is 50 meters.
The heavy duty crane is powered by a Liebherr D 9508 A7, a 603 hp diesel engine. This is a 100 tonne heavy duty crane.
The undercarriage is 6.48 meters long and 4.9 meters wide. The superstructure is 3.5 meters wide.
The counterweight weights 24.1 tonnes and has a 5.52 meter tailswing.
At this project were two quay walls made with a 650 and 1250 meter length and 38 meter depth by slurry wall method.
