Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 - Gruas Usabiaga
A Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 of Gruas Usabiaga from Gipuzkoa (ES) is used by the assembly of Europas biggest traveling ferris wheel!
It is a 200 tonne crane on 5 axles. The untercarriage has a 13.4 meter length. Packed weights this crane 60 tonnes.
In the undercarriage lays a Liebherr engine, a 6-cylinder diesel with 503 hp. The superstructure also has a Liebherr, but with 197 hp.
Put up with 52 tonnes of counterweight. That is still extendable up to 72 tonnes by two hang-on slabs with each 10 tonnes.
The counterweight has a 4.85 meter tailswing. Behind the hoistwinch is place for a second winch, like here.
The outriggerbase measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters.
The main boom has here a 35.8 meter length. The max. length is even 72 meters! The ferris wheel that is put up here, is the "Mirador Princess" and has a 70 meter height.
