This sharp Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 of Traub from Aalen Ebnat (DE) could be photographed on a construction site in the area of Schwäbisch Gmünd (DE). Traub is a construction company that for the erection of self produced precast concrete elements is deploying a fleet of own cranes. The year of manufacture of this crane is 2013.
It is a 70-tonne crane installed on a 4-axle carrier. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane is equipped with the optional 8x6x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 3 and 4 are driven and all axles are steerable.
During the transport over the road is the crane 12.52 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.95 meters tall. The transport mass of the crane is approx. 48 tonnes including 10.7 tonnes of counterweight and the bi-fold swingaway jib.
Here was the crane fitted with 10.7 tonnes of counterweight, that is the counterweight that the crane carries during the transport over the road. The full counterweight of the crane weights 14.5 tonnes and has a tailswing of 3.46 meters.
At the rear of the crane are two storage compartments made, a box for some spreading woods and a box for lifting gear.
The full outrigger base of the crane measures 8 x 6.3 meters.
The 6-part main boom has an 11 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 50 meters. Optionally is a 9.5 - 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib mountable on the main boom under a 0, 20, 40 or 60 degree angle. The crane of Traub doesn't bring the jib with it.
