The largest crawler crane that Tiong Seng from Singapore (SG) is deploying is this Liebherr LR 1400/2. The crane was there used on a large construction site by the assembly of large concrete precast elements.
The undercarriage is 10.4 meters long and 8.7 meters wide. The crane is powered by a Liebherr D926L A6, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp).
The crane is fitted here with 135 tonnes of counterweight, that exists out of two supports with each 2.5 tonnes and per side six 10-tonne slabs and a 5-tonne slab. The counterweight has a 7.18 meter tailswing. Attached to the superstructure is the stinger to adjust the counterradius of the superlift counterweight, the stinger doesn't have a function here but is mounted to save storage space.
Here was the crane fitted in SW-configuration. The main boom is 35 meters long and the luffing jib is also 35 meters long.
The luffing jib has a 28 meter base length and can be extended in steps of 7 meters to a maximum length of 91 meters.
Attached to the undercarriage is 43 tonnes of counterweight. A sharp crane of Tiong Seng!
