Tiong Seng from Singapore (SG) is deploying two Liebherr LR 1300 SX crawler cranes which are primary used for the installation of precast concrete elements. This unit was temporary erected in their yard with superlift. The crane's year of manufacture is 2014.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D 856 A7 SCR diesel engine with a power of 390 kW (523 hp). The diesel engine poweres multiple hydraulic pumps to move the crane functions.
The undercarriage is 9.65 meters long and 8 meters wide. A single track is 9.65 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.465 meters tall. The mass each is 22.35 tonnes.
Between the tracks is in total 57.2 tonnes of central counterweight mounted, exisiting out of four plates with each a mass of 14.3 tonnes. The central counterweight is shaping a proper walking area on the undercarriage to safely reach the cabin and to do maintenance to the crane.
Attached to the superstructure is the maximum counterweight of 124 tonnes, the counterweight has a 6.98 meter tailswing.
The crane is fitted with two 15-tonne hoist winches with each a 28 mm hoist rope.
Here was the crane fitted with a derrick boom. The adjustment winch for the main boom is mounted in the boom foot of the derrick boom. On the boom foot of the main boom is the adjustment winch for the luffing jib mounted.
The derrick boom has a 30 meter length and can bring the superlift counterweight of maximum 120 tonnes to a 13 meter counterradius. On the boom head of the derrick boom is one hydraulic cylinder mounted to pull the mass of the superlift counterweight into the crane.
The luffing jib was also mounted and is here 41 meters long.
A very sharp and special crane by Tiong Seng!
