In July 2021 took Shingda from Singapore (SG) this sharp Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 into operation, it is a 120-tonne crane mounted on a 4-axle crane carrier; the first crane of this type in Singapore!
The crane is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 330 kW (449 hp). The undercarriage has an 8x6x8-drive lines, where the axles 2, 3 and 4 are powered and all axles are steerable. During crane operation are the hydraulic pumps in the superstructure powered by the engine in the undercarriage. The crane can use all four crane functions simultaneously.
The 7-part main boom has a 12.3 meter base length and extends six times to maximum length of 66 meters. Attached to the main boom is a small runner so that the crane can work in the future with two hooks. Optionally is the crane to be equipped with a 10.8 - 19 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib.
In transit is the crane 14.87 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 66 tonnes with 19.2 tonnes of counterweight and the second winch.
Behind the cabin are 13.2 tonnes of counterweight stored.
At the rear of the undercarriage is another counterweight slabs with a mass of 4.7 tonnes stored, on top is a frame with the crane's outrigger pads stored.
To the superstructure is a 1.3 tonne counterweight slab mounted. This crane has VarioBallast, where the counterweight by rotating the consoles for- or backwards is positioned on a 3.83 or 4.77 meter tailswing. The crane can be fitted with maximum 30.2 tonnes of counterweight, the crane can take 19.2 tonnes with it. This crane is fitted with two hoist winches.
The full outrigger base of the crane measures 7.44 x 7 meters, the crane is fitted with VarioBase, where the crane based on the installed counterweight, boom direction and outrigger breadth live the maximum lifting capacity calculates.
At Shingda is the crane primary used for lifting duties on their own construction sites, it is the largest crane in the fleet together with a Liebherr LTR 1100. Shingda is in Singapore well known for their (underground) water pipeline construction.
A very sharp crane by Shingda, thanks for posing the crane!
