Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 - Schot
This sharp Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 belongs to Schot from Alkmaar (NL) and stood after a job shortly parked on a construction site in Amsterdam (NL). It is a 70-tonne mobile crane with year of manufacture 2009.
In transit is the crane 12.52 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.95 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 48 tonnes.
The 4-axle carrier is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 8x6x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 3 and 4 are powered and all axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 8 x 6.3 meters, or half 8 x 4.5 meters.
During the transport over the road are 6.2 tonnes of counterweight stored on the carrier.
Attached to the superstructure is 6.9 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 3.46 meter tailswing. This crane brings 13.1 tonnes of counterweight with it, the full counterweight is 14.5 tonnes. At the rear of the carrier is a nice storage box mounted, on top are the outrigger pads stored.
The crane is fitted with a 5.7-tonne hoist winch. The crane has a 6-part main boom with an 11 meter base length and a maximum length of 50 meters.
The main boom can be extended by a 9.5 - 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib, the jib can be mounted in an angle of 0, 20, 40 or 60 degrees towards the main boom. A very sharp crane of Schot!
