This sharp Liebherr LTM 1045-3.1 of Joh. Schol from Zaandam (NL) could be photographed during a visit to their yard. It is a 45-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2006.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D936L A6, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane is equipped with the optional 6x6x6-drive line, where all axles are driven and steerable. In the rack below the cabin are two round plastic outrigger pads stored.
The main boom has a 10.3 meter base length and extends three times to a maximum length of 34 meters. A 9.2 or 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib can be installed on the main boom head and can be mounted in a 0, 20, 40 or 60 degree angle.
Packed is the crane 11.2 meters long, 2.54 meters wide and 3.75 meters tall. The transport mass is around 36 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 7.17 x 6.4 meters or half 7.17 x 4.5 meters.
During the transport over the road is one counter weight slab of 1.4 tonnes stored on the undercarriage.
At the rear of the chassis is a large box attached for some lifting gear. On top are the four larger aluminium outrigger pads stored.
Attached to the super structure remains 5.6 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight is 7 tonnes and always brought with the crane. The counterweight has a tailswing of 3.45 meters.
A very sharp and well maintained crane by Joh. Schol!
