Liebherr LR 1600/2 - Schmidbauer
The Liebherr LR 1600/2 of Schmidbauer on a nightly job, to lift parts for the new Blumenrainbrücke in Biel (CH).
The old bridge was removed in two parts, the new 3-part bridge will be mounted with the LR 1600/2/ The bridge is an overpass over the railway, that is why the job is performed at night.
The principal for this job is the swiss company Senn AG from Oftringen (CH), they are on site with a Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 assist crane by the big LR.
The LR 1600/2 is fitted with a 78 meter main boom and 36 meter derrick boom.
The bridge part is set on a temporary construction. The parts weights (estimatet) between 120 and 150 tonnes.
In the next nights the other parts of the bridge were mounted, in total were three nights required.
