Liebherr LTM 1250-6.1 - Sarens
A Liebherr LTM 1250-6.1 of Sarens from Dordrecht (NL) was used to hoist windmill parts in Harlingen (NL).
The crane was fitted with the complete counterweight of 97.5 tonnes with a 5.6 meter tailswing. Many companies don't use the second slab because of transport reasons.
The outrigger base is 8.84 x 8.5 meters.
In the background is standing another 250 tonne crane of Sarens, a Terex AC 250-1.
Here is a rotor blade from the Scania of Smit Transport hoisted. The windmills are disassembled in Dronten (NL) by a crane of Sarens.
The rotor blades are 32 meters long an have a mass of 3.8 tonnes each.
The crane has a 72 meter main boom, extendable with a 36 meter folding jib whereof the crane can take 22 meters by itself. The boom is on the photo 41.5 meters extended.
