Liebherr LTM 1160-5.1 - Sarens
This Liebherr LTM 1160-5.1 of Sarens could be photographed on a contruction site in Doha (QA). The crane is operated from the branch in Al Khor (QA).
It is a 160-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2012. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D846 A7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 370 kW (503 hp). The crane has the optional 10x8x10-drive line, where the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are powered and all axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 7,98 x 7,5 Meters, or half 7,98 x 5 meters. The main boom has a 13 Meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 62 meters. A 12.2 - 22 meter long bi-fold swinaway jib can be installed under a 0, 22.5 or 45 degree angle to the main boom.
On the undercarriage is 12.1 tonnes of counterweight stored.
Attached to the superstructure remains 9.1 tonnes of counterweight, the crane brings 21.2 tonnes of counterweight with it. This is the maximum counterweight that fits geometrically on the crane. The full counterweight is 46.5 tonnes and has a 4.22 meter tailswing.
In transit is the crane 15.02 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass of this crane is about 75 tonnes.
