Liebherr LTM 1220-5.2 - Saan
The Liebherr LTM 1220-5.2 of Saan was short used on a big construction site in Diemen (NL), I saw also the Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 of Saan on the same site.
The crane was after overtaking Kreike the biggest crane of Saan, in 2012 was the Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 added to the fleet.
The crane outrigger dimensions are 8.9 x 8.3 meters. The wooden outrigger pads are taken on the rear of the crane. The escorting truck is taking the bigger pads and the rest of the counterweight.
Here was the crane used as a smaller crane and was on the road lonely.
The base plate of 12 tonnes is taken with the crane. That counterweight complete weights 74 tonnes.
A detail of the boom head. The boom has a 60 metre length and is extendable with a 22 metre folding jib.
The undercarriage engine is a 6 cylindre Liebherr-engine with 503 hp.
A nice and strong crane.
