The largest crane in operation by Rieger & Moser from Ulm (DE) is this Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 with year of manufacture 2010. Here was the crane in operation by the erection of a Liebherr 250 EC-B tower crane in Ulm (DE).
The 6-axle carrier is powered by a Liebherr 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (612 hp). This crane is equipped with the optional 12x8x12-drive line, where the axles 1, 3, 4 and 5 are powered. All axles are steerable.
Here is the crane fitted with 60 tonnes of counterweight, that has a 5.7 meter tailswing. The full counterweight is 140 tonnes.
The full outrigger base of the crane measures 8.9 x 8.53 meters, or half 8.9 x 5.6 meters.
Here was the crane in operation with the YSL superlift, the crane is able to install the superlift by itself. Here is the superlift openend 35 degrees.
The complete slewing ring of the 250 EC-B has a mass of 10.4 tonnes and is installed here at a height of approx. 68 meters.
The main boom of the crane is here 65.6 meters extended and extended by a 12 meter fixed jib and 6 meters of telescopic extension.
The counterjib has a mass of 10.3 tonnes.
The jib has a 55 meter length and weights approx. 13.5 tonnes. At a 55 meter raidus is the 250 EC-B able to lift 4.25 tonnes. The maximum jib length if 70 meters.
At last are the counterweight slabs inserted in the counter jib. A very nice job done by Rieger & Moser!
