This sharp Liebherr LTM 1160/2 of Rieger & Moser from Ulm (DE) was used for lifting works at a school that was renovated in Biberach an der Riss (DE). Rieger & Moser has cranes up to 350 tonnes and is a subsidiary company of Schmidbauer from Munich (DE).
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 9408 TI, a 544 hp strong diesel engine. This crane has the optional 10x8 drive line with the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 powered. All axles are steerable.
Packed is the crane 15.27 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high. The transport mass is 60 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 8.85 x 8.3 meters, or half 8.85 x 5.5 meters.
At the rear of the chassis are storage compartments for lifting tools and spreader wood made. The plastic outrigger pads are transported in a frame at the bottom.
The crane was erected with 35 tonnes of counterweight; an 11 tonne base plate and two 12 tonne slabs. The full counterweight weights 50 tonnes and is completed with two 7.5 tonne hang-on slabs. The counterweight has a 4.5 meter tailswing.
The main boom has a 13.2 meter base length and a maximum length of 60 meters. The main boom is extended here 52 meters.
The bi-fold swingaway jib has a 22 meter length and can be transported by the crane. The total boom length here is 74 meters.
At this job are containers with rubish lifted on a large radius.
The 35 tonnes of counterweight are transported using this 4-axle trailer, the four large outrigger pads are also taken on this trailer.
The jib can be extended by two 7-meter sections up to a 36 meter lenght. The jib is under 15, 30 and 45 degrees mountable.
