This sharp Liebherr LTM 1070-4.1 belongs to Autokran AG Rheintal from Schaan (LI). It is a 70-tonne crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier. The crane stood during a weekend parked along the road.
.The crane's year of manufacture is 2005, in the meantime was this crane replace by a new Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 926 TI-E A4, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp).
The 6-part main boom has an 11.1 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 50 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 9.5 or 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib. The jib can be mounted under a 0, 20, 40 or 60 degree angle to the main boom.
In transit is the crane 12.52 meters long, 2.68 meters wide and 3.9 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 40 tonnes.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 8 x 6.3 meters, or half 8 x 4.5 meters.
At the rear of the chassis is a large frame mounted for the outrigger woods. In the box is the rigging stored.
The crane itself takes 6.2 tonnes of counterweight with it, which remains attached to the superstructure. The full counterweight of the crane weights 13,8 tonnes and has a 3.46 meter tailwing. This crane is equipped with the optional second winch, the tailswing of the superstructure is with that 3.98 meters.
The remaining counterweight is transported by this interesting combination. It is a Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with a 2-axle trailer.
On the 2-axle Gsodam trailer are the remaining 7.6 tonnes of counterweight loaded.
