This sharp Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 of P&K from Rijssen (NL) was used on a construction site in Enter (NL) to erect a steel construction.
It is a 50-tonne crane that is installed on a 3-axle undercarriage. The year of manufacture of the crane is 2008.
The outrigger base of the crane is measuring 7.15 x 6.4 meters, or half 7.15 x 4.5 meters. The plastic outrigger pads for the crane are transported in a frame below the cabin on the undercarriage.
On the superstructure below the cabin is a storage compartment for lifting gear installed.
The crane is powered by a 6-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 6x6-drive line, where all axles are powered. All axles are also steerable. The same engine is used to power two hydraulic pumps in the superstructure to make sure all four crane movements can be operated simultaneously.
Here was the crane in operation with the full counterweight of 9 tonnes, the counterweight has a 3.53 meter tailswing. The make the main boom as long as possible is the pivot point for the boom placed as much as possible at the back, this is why the hoist winch is installed at the back of the superstructure frame, behind the counterweight.
The crane has a 4-part main boom with a maximum boom length of 38 meters. The boom is here extended fully. Optionally is is possible to extend the main boom by a 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib, that is mountable under 0, 20, 40 or 60 degrees. The crane of P&K doesn't bring this folding jib.
Packed is the crane 11.83 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.84 meters high. The transport mass is around 36 tonnes.
The crane is equipped with a 4.5-tonne hoist winch with 15 mm hoist cable. The 3-shaeve hook can be used for loads up to 30 tonnes.
At the back of the chassis is a storage box for lifting gear and tools installed. On the undercarriage are also two larger steel outrigger pads stored. Now is the hoist winch at the back of the superstructure frame well visible.
A very sharp crane in the colours of P&K!
