In 2010 took Neptune Marine from Hardinxveld-Giessendam (NL) this sharp Liebherr LR 1300 into operation. It is a 300-tonne crawler crane that would be used on its first job at Maasvlakte (NL) with a grab to move stones.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, a 16.2-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (612 hp). The engine powers multiple hydraulic pumps, all crane functions can be moved simultaneously.
The undercarriage of the crane is 9.65 meters long and 8.3 meters wide.
Here was the crane erected with the full counterweight of 124 tonnes, that exists out of a 14 tonne base plate, eight slabs with each 10 tonnes and six slabs with each 5 tonnes. The counterweight has a 6.98 meter tailswing.
Between the tracks is in total 57.2 tonnes of central counterweight installed, that exists out of four slabs with each 14.3 tonnes. The central counterweight shapes a sharp flat surface on the undercarriage, so that the cabin and sides of the superstructure can be reached safely in each position.
The tracks are 9.65 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.465 meters tall, the transport mass is 22.35 tonnes.
In the superstructure are two 15-tonne hoist winches installed.
The crane was fitted here with 44 meter long main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 212.6 tonnes on a 6 meter radius and 20.7 tonnes up to a 44 meter radius.
A very sharp crane by Neptune Marine! This company is deploying crawler cranes up to a 500 tonne capacity.
