Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1

Moh Seng

This fine Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 belongs to Moh Seng from Singapore (SG). It is a 350-tonne mobile telescopic crane mounted on a 6-axle carrier, built in 2010.

The 6-axle carrier is powered by a Liebherr 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 450 kW (612 hp). This crane has the standard 12x6x12 drive, whereby axles 1, 3 and 5 are driven and all axles are steerable.

The crane was scheduled to dismantle a tower crane that day and was briefly parked along the road outside the construction site until access to the site was possible.

The six-section main boom has a base length of 14.9 metres and telescopes five times to a maximum length of 70 metres. During transport on public roads, this crane carries the YSL guying system.

The outrigger base measures 8.93 x 8.53 metres, or 8.93 x 5.6 metres when half extended.

The superstructure is powered by a Liebherr 4-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 180 kW (245 hp). This diesel engine drives a total of five hydraulic pumps. The crane is equipped with a 12-tonne hoist winch.

In transport condition, this crane is 17.74 metres long, 3 metres wide and 4 metres high. The total weight of the crane with YSL guying system is approximately 82 tonnes.

During crane operation, a maximum of 140 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure, with a swing radius of 5.7 metres.

A very fine crane from Moh Seng! Nowadays, this crane is operating in Taiwan for a new owner.
