Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 - Mediaco
For the disassembly of a tower crane in Biberach an der Riss (DE) was Mediaco from Rheinau (DE) using this sharp Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1. Mediaco is one of the largest french crane rental companies, with sime subsidiaries in the south eastern part of Germany also.
A Liebherr 420 EC-H 16 Litronic need to be disassembled. The crane was ready on this job site and had its next job in Denmark. Here are the first counterweight slabs removed.
The jib has a 70 meter length and weights around 15 tonnes.
The main boom has a 13.2 meter base length and extends six times to a full length of 72 meters. The main boom is here 53.8 meters extended.
Directly is continued with the 25.7 meter counterjib with a mass of around 15 tonnes including the hoist gear.
The crane's year of manufacture is 2016.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp. The crane has the optional 10x8-drive line with the first axle driven, all axles are steerable. Between the axles and the engine is an automatic transmission from ZF with 12 gears installed.
The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters.
The crane is fitted here with 32 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight weights 72 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.85 meter tailswing.
After the jib is splitted and loaded into the trucks is continued with the jib head with 3.5 tonnes.
The cabin weights 15 tonnes.
