This sharp Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 of Mammoet from Schiedam (NL) was used by the construction of a basement in Putten (NL). It is a 400-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2016, mounted onto a 7-axle carrier.
The 7-axle carrier is powered by a Liebherr 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 455 kW (619 hp). This crane has the optional 14x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 3, 5 and 6 are powered.
Behind the cabin is the large boom support vissible that is also used for the assembly or disassembly of the YSL superlift system.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 10 x 9,5 meters, or half 10 x 6.23 meters.
Here was the crane fitted with a 100 tonnes of counterweight, that exisits out of a 15 tonne base plate with a 5 tonne slab and in total eight 10-tonne slabs. The full counterweight of the crane is 140 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is adjustable with use of a hydraulic system between 5.6 and 6.6 meters.
At the rear of the chassis is a large equipment box mounted for some tools.
The 5-part main boom has a 15.4 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 60 meters. The boom has a length of 36 meters on this job.
After the lunch break was the crane used to install a 50.1 tonne heavy precast concrete wall element. The element was transported in horizontal position and is turned into vertical position on the job site.
Slowly is the crane slewing the element to the construction...
... to be installed on top of the other wall.
A very sharp crane in the Mammoet colours!
