This sharp Liebherr LTM 1100-5.2 of Mammoet from Schiedam (NL) was used to assemble some SPMT modules that were used for the transport of a large yacht in Enkhuizen (NL).
It is a 100-tonne crane that is build on a 5-axle undercarriage. A part of the counterweight is transported on a 2-axle trailer to reduce the axle loadings of the crane. The crane's year of manufacture is 2016.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D846 A7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp. This crane is fitted with the optional 10x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are driven.
Below the cabine on the undercarriage are the round plastic outrigger pads stored during the transport over the road.
The outrigger base measures 7.4 x 7 meters, or half 7.4 x 5 meters.
Here are the supports installed on the SPMT where the yacht will be loaded onto.
The 6-part main boom has a 11.5 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 52 meters. Here is the main boom only extended 26.4 meters.
Here was the crane fitted with 26 tonnes of counterweight. To configure the crane with the full counterweight of 35 tonnes are two 4.5 tonne hang-on slabs required. The counterweight has a 3.97 meter tailswing.
Packed is the crane 13.64 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meters high. The transport mass of the crane is approx. 60 tonnes.
The trailer is loaded with 11 tonnes of counterweight.
A very sharp crane in the Mammoet-colours!
