Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2
This new Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 stood parked on a storage yard of the manufacturer in Singapore (SG). It is a 70-tonne mobile crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier with year of manufacture 2020.
The undercarriage is powered by a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 330 kW (449 hp). This crane has the standard 8x4x8-drive line, where the axles 3 and 4 are powered. All axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 8 x 6.3 meters, or half 8 x 4.5 meters.
On the carrier is a counterweight slab with a mass of 3.6 tonnes stored.
The six-part main boom has an 11 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 50 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 9.5 - 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib, the jib is mountable under a 0, 20, 40 or 60 degree angle to the main boom.
In transit is the crane 13.03 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.9 meters tall. The crane has a total mass of 48 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure are 5 tonnes of counterweight and the second hoist winch. The counterweight has a 3.46 meter tailswing, the second winch has a 3.98 meter tailswing. The full counterweight of the crane is 13.8 tonnes, this crane brings 8.6 tonnes of that with it.
