This sharp Liebherr LTM 1050-4 stood in Heilbronn (DE) and was previously used by Feuerwehr Heilbronn. The current owner is SER, a demolition company from Heilbronn (DE). It is a 50-tonne crane with year of manufacture 1988.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 442 A, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (354 hp). On this crane are the axles 1, 2 and 4 powered, all axles are steerable.
The 4-part main boom has a 10.2 meter base length and extends three times to a maximum length of 31 meters.
The outrigger base measures 8.055 x 7.2 meters, or half 8.055 x 5 meters.
During transport over the road is a 2.4 tonne counterweight slab stored on the undercarriage. The full counterweight of the crane weights 7.3 tonnes and has a 3.34 meter tailswing.
On the superstructure and undercarriage are additional storage compartments made.
The crane is fitted with an additional salvage winch, this can be guided through the pully attached to the superstructure. Vehicles can be towed also with use of the traingle.
Also on this side are additional storage compartments mounted. At fire departments are cranes mainly used to salvage heavy vehicles and to resque people from height. This crane was at Feuerwehr Heilbronn replaces by a Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2.
Stored on top of the front bumper is a 30-tonne lifting beam.
